Regarding parking, the hotel does not have a private parking lot. Therefore, guests must use public parking lots: non-accessible parking spaces are located approximately 5 meters away, and the first reserved parking space is located approximately 130 meters from the hotel entrance.
Please note: From the reserved parking space, the route to the hotel entrance runs partly along the road; you must cross a road to reach the entrance door in a wheelchair.
The hotel door is 90 cm wide but has a second panel that can be opened, doubling the door’s width.
Upon arrival at the hotel, a keypad and a call button allow guests to contact the owners so they can come and help open the door. This call button is quite high. If a person in a wheelchair cannot reach the call button, the staff at the front desk are on the lookout to come and open the front door for anyone who needs assistance.
There is no accessible reception desk, but guests with limited mobility are welcomed in the lounge across from the entrance. The owners have a wireless payment terminal that allows payments to be made in this lounge.
An accessible restroom that meets accessibility standards is located in the hotel’s common areas.
Two guest rooms meet accessibility standards and are adapted for guests with limited mobility.
To access them, guests must take the elevator located on the ground floor. The elevator also meets accessibility standards: the elevator entrance is 80 cm wide, and the call buttons and control panel are positioned at heights between 100 and 115 cm. The elevator car measures 140 cm x 113 cm.
The staircase leading to the rooms is fully equipped with a handrail.
The pathways in the hotel’s hallways are more than 120 cm wide.
The breakfast room is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible to people with limited mobility: the pathways there are wide and completely flat. The height of the breakfast tables is 73 cm (the table legs are centered), and the buffet is 83 cm high.
The two accessible rooms are configured as follows:
- One with a double bed
- One with a double bed and two single beds
All rooms are equipped with curtains as well as standard manual shutters.
Regarding the restrooms, a toilet seat riser is available upon request.
For all rooms, a shower stool can be installed in the shower if necessary.
All rooms are on one level. However, for rooms that do not meet accessibility standards, there are steps to climb to enter the shower. The rooms are equipped with showers only.
For example, below is a description of one of the two accessible rooms—the one with a double bed and two single beds:
The bedroom door and the bathroom door are 90 cm wide. The bathroom door is a sliding door.
In the bathroom, the clearance under the sink is 83 cm. The toilet is 40 cm high. The shower is walk-in, and the entrance to the shower is 90 cm wide.
In the bedroom, the bed is 55 cm high, and there is 90 cm of space on the side. The mattress is firm.
This room has no thresholds or steps.
Please note: the bedroom window is a skylight.
For a second example, below is a description of a room that does not meet accessibility standards—a room for three people with one double bed and one single bed:
The entrance door is 82 cm wide. The bed is 60 cm high with 90 cm of space on at least one side of the bed.
The bathroom door is 60 cm wide. The entrance to the shower is 40 cm wide; there is a 30 cm step to climb, and the shower stall measures 68 cm x 68 cm.
