I’ve loved nature ever since I was a little girl, and I discovered the world of medicinal plants thanks to some fascinating people who agreed to share their knowledge with me as the seasons changed.

I’ve learned to recognize plants as I come across them on my walks or even in the garden. The great medicinal plants surround us every day, though they’re often dismissed as “weeds.” I’ve come to understand their value and their secrets. And with patience, they’ve taught me how to encounter them, contemplate them, and harvest them… Through them, I’ve come to understand how they can share their wisdom with me, and I’ve harnessed their properties by making sun-infused oil macerates—my specialty, what I love doing most—as well as lip balms, soaps, incense sticks, and more…
