Handicap moteur

Car parking is available near the entrance to the residence, in a gravel courtyard. The entrance is less than about ten meters from the parking area. The path to the front door is wide, and there is only one small 4-centimeter threshold to cross. The front door is 92 cm wide with a 2 cm threshold. The ground floor includes the living room and kitchen, which are shared with the owners. Everything is on one level, with no thresholds or steps. The ground floor features spacious rooms, making it easy to move around. To reach the bedroom, you must climb 16 steps that are 19 cm high and 30 cm deep. A handrail is present on only one side of the staircase. Once at the top of the stairs, the bedroom has no steps or thresholds. The upper floor is private and laid out as follows: - A living room that opens onto a balcony. The door is a double-hinged glass door with a 3-cm threshold. - A bedroom with a double bed; the door is 78 cm wide. The bed is 50 cm high. The room can be darkened using traditional manual wooden shutters. - A bathroom with a toilet. The door is 83 cm wide. The toilet is 40 cm high. The shower measures 80 cm x 140 cm with an 8-cm step. The entrance to the shower is 55 cm wide. Upon request, a booster seat can be installed in the shower for sitting. Outside, access to the pool is through the entrance doors mentioned above. You must go down 10 steps and then another 15-cm step. There is then a sloped ramp leading to the pool; it is 89 cm wide. The owners do not have any adapted entry equipment, but steps are provided to enter the water (see photos). The owners, who live nearby, will be attentive to the guest’s needs. The owners have previously hosted a group of young people with mobility impairments.
