Sou welcomes you to a charming traditional Savoyard farmhouse, built in 1861 and recently renovated to give it a unique, warm, and inviting character.

Ideally Located in the Heart of the Alps

Perfectly situated at the entrance of the ski resort of Les Carroz, the chalet is only a 10-minute walk from the village center. A free ski bus stops right at the doorstep, taking you to the gondola in under five minutes.

“Du Côté de chez Sou” is a true guest house where Sancie and Sylvain warmly welcome you in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They are always on hand to ensure your stay is as comfortable and rejuvenating as possible, while you enjoy the wonders of the mountains in every season.

The chalet features a vast 100 m² living area on the upper floor, which was once used as a hayloft. Bathed in natural light, this space includes a reception area, a large open kitchen where your hosts prepare delicious homemade dishes, and a dining area that shares a sleek designer fireplace with the lounge at the center of the room. Sylvain’s grand piano — he is a professional pianist — adds a musical touch to the ambiance. Thanks to the large picture windows, the living room opens onto a long balcony and a spacious terrace, furnished with an outdoor lounge where you can enjoy an aperitif at sunset or admire the starry night sky.

The upper floor is open to guests for breakfast, and for dinner on evenings when the table d’hôtes is offered. On request, this area can also remain accessible for guests wishing to play the piano or enjoy the home cinema — perfect for cozy days indoors.

The ground floor of the house is independently accessible at any time. Entry is through the ski room, which is equipped with storage racks, an elliptical bike, and fitness equipment. A pleasant hallway leads to the guest rooms, as well as a small shared lounge area with a coffee and tea station and a selection of books for relaxing moments.

Four guest rooms, located on the garden level and facing south, open onto a sunny outdoor space in the warmer months. Each has its own unique style, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Each room includes:

A Queen-size bed (160x200), which can be converted into two twin beds

A wardrobe

A side table

A smart TV with international channels

A private bathroom with WC and a spacious shower

The table d’hôtes is a special moment of sharing and conviviality, where we take pleasure in meeting our guests and introducing them to our cuisine. Our dishes are inspired by French culinary tradition and the rich Alpine terroir, enhanced with a touch of modernity and southern influences drawn from our origins.

All our dishes and desserts are homemade, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Some products, such as mushrooms or wild berries, are frozen outside their harvest season to preserve their quality when they cannot be served fresh.

We are happy to accommodate specific dietary requirements, provided they are mentioned at the time of booking (allergies, intolerances, vegetarian or vegan diets).

Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Please note that the table d’hôtes is not available every evening. We kindly ask you to contact us at least 24 hours in advance to check availability and reserve your dinner. Rates per person vary depending on the menu and the season.
