The Gîte du Passant is a venue located in Le Reposoir, in Haute-Savoie, that specializes in organizing weddings and private or corporate events.

Located at the foot of the Col de la Colombière, in the heart of the Aravis Mountains, the Gîte du Passant enjoys a prime location near Annecy, Geneva, Chamonix, La Clusaz, and Le Grand-Bornand.
Open year-round, the Gîte du Passant welcomes groups in every season, for both private and professional events.

Handicap moteur
Even if the building is not labeled "tourism and handicap", the owner already welcomed people in wheelchair or with motor disabilities.
The person has to be able to stand up from the wheelchair to climb the different stairs or must be carried by someone.
The owners car pick-up people from the car park with a 4x4 or a quad. For people preferring to walk, the car park is located at a 10-min-walk from the building, the path is slopping.
The entry for people with motor disabilities is at the 1st floor, a 16-cm-high step then a doorstep must be passed.
Owners, always on site, will pay attention at any person with a handicap.
The accomodation is built like this :
> Garden level :
- a room for 2 people with spare bed possible.
- Doorstep (see pictures)
> Ground floor :
- 11-cm-high step at the entry, then doorstep of 10cm, grating whith holes inferior at 2cm.
- A dormitory with 10-12 beds with bunk beds
- 3 showers, 3 taps, 2 toilets
- a shared room
- a step is to be crossed between each room
- between the ground floor and the 1st floor, there are 12 steps, the stair is very narrow but there is a handrail (see pictures)
> 1st floor :
- 2 linked dormitories with 8 simple beds each, step between them
- 1 bedroom with a 5cm doorstep with 2 double beds and a baby bed
- 1 room without doorstep or step with 4 double beds
- 1 room with a double bed and 2 simple bed : 1 step at the entry
- 1 man shared bathroom and 1 woman shared bathroom without doorstep with showers and doorsteps of 2cm
- 1 shower adapted for people with motor disabilities
- no toilet adapted
- stair of 14 steps between the 1st and the 2nd floor
> 2nd floor :
- large dining room of 100 people
- 1 bedroom with 3 double beds
- terrace with 3cm doorstep

The accomodation is far from a busy road. It is located on a track in the forest on which cars are forbidden. The house is not enclosed.
In the bathroom, taps are with a pushed button (no need to regulate the temperature).
