In Paris, amid the hustle and bustle of Fashion Week, Maxine, an American film director, hears news that will change her life forever. She crosses paths with Ada, a young South Sudanese model who has left her country, and Angèle, a French make-up artist aspiring to a new life. Between these three women from very different backgrounds, an unsuspected solidarity develops. Beneath the glamorous veneer lies a kind of silent revolt: that of women stitching together, each in their own way, the threads of their own history.
