Hush! Une pomme is an invitation to literally plunge into the world of surrealist painter René Magritte. With mischief and poetry, we follow the peregrinations of the painter René.
Somewhere between Chaplin and Mr Hulot, the painter struggles through the surreal world of his home and the objects that make it up. He weaves strange conversations with his radio, the old friend who gives rhythm to his daily life. But a small grain of sand interferes with his whimsical daily routine: a tiny apple that the painter wants to bite into, in every sense of the word. This long-awaited fruit takes him on a wild chase from his living room to the huge paintings on his walls. And there, in those suspended canvases, gravity suddenly disappears and everything becomes possible... With the help of a visual artist who has recreated works in the style of the great painters, this highly visual, almost wordless show invites us to reflect on the weight of words through 5 relatively similar characters.
