Description

Alice Laverty is a graduate of Ecole É. Cohl from Lyon and a Master’s degree in Research in Creation and Contemporary Plasticity at the University Paris Sorbonne. She asserts herself as a visual artist painter who is part of the new French figurative scene.
Whatever the technique: oil, ink or Bic pen, Alice Laverty offers a carnal and spiritual pictorial universe. Fascinated by the individual and the body as a vehicle for emotions, she defends a contemporary figurative approach of the 'female figure', the 'couple' and the 'mother' Alice Laverty has left Paris, lives and works in Haute-Savoie, between Annecy and Geneva. Artist involved with sensitive audiences for the defense of freedom of expression and French secularism with NGOs. She is also an illustrator for editing and visual communication.
